A Grateful Farewell After Twelve Years of Service
Dear Residents of Port Matilda,
As I conclude my third term as your Mayor, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the trust and support you have shown me over the past twelve years. Serving the Borough of Port Matilda has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
Throughout my three terms, I had the privilege of working alongside dedicated council members, passionate volunteers, and engaged citizens who care deeply about our community. Together, we worked to improve infrastructure, support local businesses, strengthen civic engagement, and continue building a community we can all be proud to call home.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you. Your confidence in my leadership has meant more than words can express. As I pass the torch to the next Mayor, I do so with full faith in the continued strength and unity of Port Matilda.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Ida Lively
